Practicum Opportunities

The MOSAIC Department offers a variety of practicum opportunities for students seeking career readiness skills that complement their academic journey. Students that complete a practicum with the MOSAIC Department will gain deepened awareness and career skills in cultural competence, effective leadership, customer service, planning and organizing, self-management, and personal wellbeing.

General Information: 

  • Number of Available Practicum Positions: Varies each academic year based on departmental needs and site supervisor availability. Students will work with a MOSAIC staff member on projects aligned with departmental priorities and, when possible, the student's interests and learning objectives.

  • Operating Hours: The department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Weekend and evening hours are occasionally available.

  • Priority Review Due Date: Sunday, August 9th, 2026. Practicum interest forms are accepted throughout the year and reviewed on a rolling basis. Students seeking a practicum for Fall 2026 and/or the entire academic year should submit an interest form by the priority review date to ensure full consideration for available opportunities.
