Ashley San Miguel (she/her/ella) is a bilingual first-generation graduate from Sugar Hill, Georgia! She graduated from Reed College in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Leadership for Educational Organizations at CU Denver. Ashley is passionate about advancing social justice, supporting first-generation and students of color, and dismantling oppressive institutions and ideologies.

As the First2Go Program Coordinator, Ashley supports all first-generation students at UCCS. She collaborates with different offices across campus to coordinate events and workshops that celebrate and/or provide resources to first-gen students.

She enjoys cooking (Peruvian food most of all), playing cozy video games, watching the same shows a million times, and doing paint-by-numbers kits in her down time. Her favorite thing to talk about is her perfect dog Star, so come by and ask about him or anything else!
