About
Anthony Cordova started at UCCS in 1994 as a forty year old first-time freshman, first generation, single parent with four children, after 21 years as a heavy equipment operator. As an undergraduate and graduate student, he was an active leader in several student organizations. Before assuming the MOSAIC Directorship in 2000, Anthony previously served as the Assistant Director of the Pre Collegiate Development Program and as an Academic Advisor. Anthony retired from the role of Director in July 2021 and now serves as an instructor in the MOSAIC Gateway Program. He has a passion for helping students find their connection to campus and serves as an important resource for them to develop leadership skills, self-knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of others, while also encouraging academic and personal growth.
